Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament "Salute to America" You are invited to attend the 7th Annual Mission Inn Ladies Invitational in Howey-in-the-Hills, near Orlando. This year’s tournament will be a fundraiser “Salute to America” to benefit Hospice of Lake & Sumter County. This very special tournament will be played on El Campeón, Mission Inn’s award winning 1917 “Old Course”, one of the top 10 courses in the State and is the tournament course for several NCAA National Championships.
Format: 18 hole stroke play Fourball. (Better ball of a two-person team.) 100% handicap. One overall gross winner. Remainder of prizes will be net. Teams will be flighted according to total team handicap. Be sure to include each team member’s handicap index on the application. Play will be on the beautiful championship course, El Campeón, 1917 “Old Course”.
Practice Rounds, Optional Skins Game on Sunday, Practice Rounds Saturday after 12:00 noon, November 24 and Sunday after 10:00 a.m., November 25, 2007. Cost: $65 plus tax per person. (regular rate: Las Colinas & El Campeon $100 +tax) Las Colinas with its 5 new holes, is available on Monday, November 26 for spouse at practice round rate. Optional Skins Game on Sunday ($20 per team). Call the Pro Shop in advance if you wish to participate in the skins game. Complimentary Wine & Cheese Gathering on Sunday at 5:30 (cash bar), given by Mission Inn and your host committee. (Spouses are welcome to attend.)
