The Florida Junior Governor’s Cup Open at beautiful Mission Inn Resort
& Club is a prestigious tournament for all junior boys and girls
12-18. Mission Inn’s courses located in Lake County are top national
and internationally rated, challenging and perfect for competition.
Mission Inn is well known for the Florida Junior Golf Championship held each July for 35 years. Many of those
participants have gone on to successful careers on the PGA and LPGA
Tours. Notables include: Mark Calcavecchia, Bob Tway, Davis Love III,
Lee Janzen, Chris Dimarco and Michelle McGann.

Format:
Limited fields are chosen to compete in the Florida Junior Governor’s
Cup Open. The event is a 3 day, 54 hole stroke play tournament amongst
a strong field of junior golfers on two championship golf courses.
Eligibility:
Each participant must be 12-18 years old and may not be attending a
college or university. Age Divisions:
12-14, 15 and 16, and 17 and 18. List USGA handicap on registration and
please enclose resume with application.

Please enclose $235 with entry form. This fee includes 2 practice
rounds, 3 days of tournament play, welcome gifts, daily breakfast and
banquet. All entries must be received by Thursday, December 27, 2007.
Refunds will be made if notified by Thursday, December 27th,
2007.
Regulations:
USGA rules shall apply except as amended by the local rules committee.
Golf carts and caddies are not allowed. Pull carts are allowed only
with a medical excuse from a physician.
