Celebrating its
37th Anniversary…

The prestigious Florida Junior Golf Championship is one of the oldest junior tournaments in the Southeast United States. Both the boys’ and girls’ fields have a history of being comprised of the most talented young players from the U.S., Canada, South America, South Africa and Europe. Many of these participants have gone on to successful careers on the PGA and LPGA Tours. Notables include: Mark Calcavecchia, Bob Tway, Davis Love III, Lee Janzen, Chris Dimarco and Michelle McGann. 1995 Boys’ Invitational Champion, Steve Scott went on to the 1995 semi-finals and 1996 finals of the U.S. Amateur.

Tournament Information...
Format: Limited fields are chosen to compete in the Florida Junior Golf Championship. The event is a 3 day, 54 hole stroke play tournament amongst a strong field of junior golfers on two championship golf courses.

Eligibility:
Each participant must be 12-18 years old and may not be attending a college or university. Age Divisions: 12-14, 15 and 16, and 17 and 18. List USGA handicap on registration and please enclose resume with application.

Registration Fee:
Please enclose $195 with entry form. This fee includes 2 practice rounds, 3 days of tournament play, welcome gifts, daily breakfast and banquet. All entries must be received by Friday, June 27, 2008. Refunds will be made if notified by Friday, June 27, 2008.

Regulations:
USGA rules shall apply except as amended by the local rules committee. Golf carts and caddies are not allowed. Pull carts are allowed only with a medical excuse from a physician.
